Fire Force Season 3: Everything We Know So Far

Fire Force Season 3

Fire Force Season 3

We haven’t heard anything about a third season in nearly a year, since the second season finished on December 12th, 2020. Nonetheless, the optimism that Funimation would release a Fire Force Season 3 soon persists. Furthermore, the manga’s sales and the demand for the upcoming season push Funimation.

Without a doubt, the epidemic has already had an impact on the publication dates of numerous anime programs. As a result, Fire Force has also experienced criticism. Nonetheless, the continued need for great anime continues to grow. As a result, a third season is very certainly on the way.

Fire Force Season 3 Plot

The Fire Force anime is based on the manga’s narrative. On the one hand, the first season showed the plot from book 1 to halfway through volume 11. The second, on the other hand, continued the tale from the 11th book to the beginning of the 20th.

As a result, Fire Force Season may follow suit. However, since anime is notorious for filler episodes, season 3 may be able to stay on pace. Despite this, the manga only contains 32 volumes. As a result, the anime might finish with its third season without any filler arcs.

Season 3 of Fire Force will pick up where Season 2 left off. Shinra would finish Benimaru’s (Company 7’s Captain) training, gaining access to The Press of Death. Furthermore, things would get more complicated for Company 8 since they are now labeled as traitors. While Season 2 ended on a tragic note (Hague’s Death), Season 3 may bring the anime to a close when Shinra obtains forgiveness for all fallen friends.

When will Fire Force Season 3 be released?

Fire Force Season 3 has yet to get an official release date or confirmation. However, with the show’s success translating into considerable manga sales, there’s reason to assume that another season of the series is in the works, with an announcement expected shortly.

The Official “Fire Force” Anime Twitter stated that the manga’s sales had surpassed 15 million copies by late April. With so much money in sales, it’s evident that the program is popular enough to merit another season.

According to Atsushi Kubo, the manga should conclude shortly, which may cause the development of another anime season to be delayed. Okubo revealed in an interview with Monsters And Critics that, although things may change, he intended the series to conclude around volume 30.

Furthermore, as Anime News Network reported, Okubo claimed in the manga’s 23rd volume that the tale was near its last chapter and that “Fire Force” will be his final manga.

With 28 books of the manga already produced, there may be a minor delay in determining when it will conclude. While Fire Force Season 3 release date in late 2021 is feasible, it is more probable that the remainder of the year will lead to an official announcement, with a release date in 2022.

Season 3 Cast of Fire Force

Though Funimation hasn’t confirmed a third season, it’s pretty probable. Furthermore, we can only assume that the previous cast will return for Fire Force Season 3. As a result, if not modified, a handful of the key cast members may be:

  • Gakuto Kajiwara: Shinra Kusakabe (Japanese) Derick Snow’s (English)
  • Mao Ichimichi as Sister Iris (Japanese) Tipton, Alexis (English)
  • Tamaki Kotatsu: Yuuki Aoi (Japanese) Saxton, Jad (English)
  • Yuusuke Kobayashi as Arthur Boyle (Japanese) Vale, Eric (English)
  • Saeko Kamijou: Maki Oze (Japanese) Roach, Sarah (English)

The position of manga

Manga series are often used as source material for anime. Like many amines, Fire Force Season 3 is a manga-friendly anime series. Atsushi Kubo’s manga series, published by Kodansha, has been running in the weekly Shonen Magazine from September 23, 2015, and continues to this day. This manga series, however, has come to an end. Atsushi said that he will finish the Fire Force Manga series.

The manga has so far been released in 32 volumes and 298 chapters (not yet in book). The second season of the series spans around 19 books. As a result, we can declare that the series has enough source material to be animated for the third season of Fire Force. However, if the string is renewed for a third season, Season 3 might be the series’ last season, since the manga is presently on its final arc.
